This year we’re throwing a Trencherman’s Awards bash with a difference
In keeping with our historic venue of Bovey Castle, we’re hosting a vintage country house party – and we’re relying on you to bring the glamour. So don your sequins, feathers, swing skirts, flat caps, tassels, braces and dickie bows and get ready for a thoroughly old-fashioned affair.
The multi-course feast will be prepared by Andrew Swann of The Castle at Taunton (starter), Rick Toogood of Prawn on the Lawn (fish course), Mark Budd of Bovey Castle (main) and Scott Paton of Boringdon Hall Hotel (dessert). Each course will be paired with exquisite wines from Hallgarten & Novum and beer from Sharp’s Brewery.
The evening will start with a Champagne reception featuring exquisite canapés and an additional welcome drink from Trevethan Distillery and Navas, and will finish with petits fours and coffee.
The hotel has plenty of rooms, so use this as an excuse to stay the night and take advantage of this majestic location with its spa, golf course and 275 acres of lush countryside.
