Culinary wizardry in Kingsbridge

Colours bounce off the plate and flavours pop, delight and ignite curiosity at Michelin-recommended and two-time Trencherman’s Award-winning (Best Newcomer in 2020 and Award for Creativity and Innovation in 2021) Restaurant Twenty Seven by Jamie Rogers.

MasterChef: The Professionals semi‑finalist Jamie Rogers is the ball of energy who crafts inventive and intriguing dishes from produce sourced within 25 miles of his Kingsbridge restaurant.

Hero ingredients are transformed into creations such as Dartmouth crab mille feuille with cucumber, lime and caviar, and Salcombe Meat Company roasted rack of lamb and slow‑cooked shoulder with apricot,
courgette and basil.

Guests can dine à la carte for lunch or dinner, but it’s worth splashing out to experience Jamie’s culinary wizardry via the six‑course tasting menu and complementing wine flight. Plant‑based diners are also catered for with tasting menus tailored to vegan and vegetarian diets.

Trencherman’s tip

Bookend a meal in style by sipping a pre‑dinner cocktail in the elegant downstairs bar before heading upstairs to the intimate loft‑like dining room. Then, round off the evening with a zingy apple tarte tatin for two, incorporating cider caramel, Devon Blue and apple cider sorbet.
