Spicy cocktail

Try making this sweet and spicy autumn cocktail

As the autumn days get cooler and the nights draw in, have a go at making this spicy cocktail, which combines a warming blend of gin, ginger, cinnamon syrup and smoky tea

You will need

Ginger 1 slice (thumbnail sized)
Cinnamon syrup 10ml
Gin 35ml
Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice 25ml
Tea liqueur 10ml
Raspberry liqueur 10ml
Fresh raspberries to garnish

Method

  1. Chill a glass and add crushed ice to a shaker.
  2. Add the slice of ginger and cinnamon syrup to the shaker and gently muddle.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients (except the raspberry liqueur) with the ice and shake, then pour into the glass over the ice.
  4. Drizzle over the raspberry liqueur and top with excess crushed ice.
  5. Add a sweet touch to your spicy cocktail with a garnish of raspberries.
