Planning this weekend’s takeaway? Make it a night of incredible edibles with a three course feast crafted by Rock Salt Cafe & Brasserie in Plymouth
Plymouth’s favourite neighbourhood bistro is collaborating with its sister restaurant Salumi Bar & Eatery to provide locals with a delicious home dining experience. The range of fan-favourite dishes from chef patron Dave Jenkins’ two restaurants will be available for collection on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Rock Salt’s phone lines are open 12pm-3pm Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am-4pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 10am-3pm on Sundays in order for patrons to place takeaway orders. Then you just have to rock up to Salumi between 5-8pm on Fridays and Saturdays, or 11am-3pm on Sundays to pick up your gourmet feast to-go.
Why Rock Salt?
You’d be hard pressed to find a globetrotting gourmet takeaway similar to that of Dave’s anywhere in Devon. He combines his love of Asian cuisine, local ingredients and creative cooking to create a unique restaurant dining experience, which he’s currently recreating for takeaway.
Dave was voted Best Chef in the 2019 Food Magazine Reader Awards, after previously receiving the Best Restaurant accolade in 2017. In addition to making it into the Trencherman’s Guide, Rock Salt holds two AA rosettes, is featured in the Good Food Guide and has had mentions in the Sunday Times Cheap Eats, Lonely Planet Guide and the Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine.
