Feast at home on lip-smackingly good seafood dishes fresh from The Galley Restaurant in Topsham
The lowdown
Topsham’s popular seafood spot is providing locals with a chance to enjoy its beautiful food at home via its takeaway service . The home-dining experience differs each day: Thursday’s line up is a delicious mix of hot dishes to-go, Friday sees the return of The Galley’s fish ‘n’ chip Fryday and Saturday is a more decadent affair in the form of a three-course meal kit (with cooking instructions) prepared by head chef Jason Mead.
When
The service is available between 5pm-8pm on Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays. As a result of dealing in only the freshest fish, The Galley can take pre-orders up to 12pm the day before you’d like your feast. Once ordered, the restaurant will allocate a time for you to pick-up your food from a service point at the restaurant.
Why The Galley?
‘The best of Devon on a plate’ is how head chef Jason Mead and the team describe their offering at this intimate Topsham treasure. It’s a fitting description of The Galley Restaurant which has long held a solid reputation for beautiful food and friendly efficient service among those in-the-know. And, while you won’t get to delight in the lively spirit and attractive decor of the restaurant right now, this is still a wonderful opportunity to tuck in to its incredible food at home.
