This year’s Michelin stars were announced at a ceremony on February 10 at Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Glasgow. Many Trencherman’s Guide restaurants retained the prestigious accolade and the region scored a new one for Wilson’s in Bristol. Destination restaurants such as Àclèaf at Boringdon Hall in Plymouth and Paul Ainsworth at No.6 retained their stars and a wealth of new venues earned Bib Gourmands for the first time. Of the 37 new Bib Gourmands announced, seven of them went to restaurants in the region.
