Michelin Keys are for hotels what Michelin Stars are for restaurants, in a scheme unveiled by the Michelin Guide in 2024
In Michelin’s overhaul of its grading for hotels, they have highlighted the creme de la creme of the selection via a new accolade: Michelin Key status.
All Michelin Guide hotels showcase excellent design, architecture, service and personality, but those awarded a Key have been judged to offer the most outstanding experiences.
Michelin inspectors use five criteria when selecting hotels for the award: excellence in architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, overall personality and character, value for the price, and a significant contribution to the neighborhood or setting. Michelin Key hotels fulfil all of these criteria to the highest standard.
One Key denotes a very special stay, Two Keys an exceptional stay, and Three Keys an extraordinary stay.
We are delighted that the below Trencherman’s Guide members have achieved Michelin Key status.
