2021 wish list: The Nare’s new Whittington Suites

Our post-lockdown wish list is growing longer each day, but The Nare‘s sublime new Whittington Suites have quickly jumped the queue to claim top spot

The Nare’s Whittington Suites were unveiled at a fabulous Zoom drinks party on March 11 where attendees (including Nare fan Dame Judi Dench) were treated to a virtual tour of the four spacious and individually decorated new suites.

Located in the gardens of the hotel on the Roseland Peninsula, the new suites offer exceptional sea views over Carne Beach and Gerrans Bay, with iconic Nare Head to the east and views to The Lizard west. It’s not only the idyllic setting which makes the Whittington Suites a worthy addition to your 2021 wish list, however, as everything has been tastefully curated for comfort and relaxation with country-house glamour complemented by up-to-the-minute facilities.

For stars like Judi, the suites offer the benefit of seclusion thanks to private entrances and direct access to the gardens. Of course, at the current time, the opportunity to stay in a private suite is attractive even to those of us not preyed on by paparazzi.

Guests staying in the suites will be able to delight in the hotel’s leisure and spa facilities, and also enjoy foodie thrills care of the two dining options: the AA rosette Quarterdeck Restaurant and The Nare Dining Room – read more about them here.

The Nare Whittington Suites

Managing director of The Nare, Toby Ashworth, envisioned creating luxury suites at the hotel since he took the hotel over from his grandmother on the eve of the millennium. And, to honour his family heritage and its century of Cornish hospitality, Toby has named the suites after his grandmother and great-grandmother, Bettye and Olive Whittington.

The suites are booking up extremely quickly, so if you’d like a stay before 2022, snap one up here.
