Halwyn

Since opening in 2025, Halwyn has established itself as one of Cornwall’s most distinctive destinations for casual dining, drinking and gathering.

Founded by Will Eustice on his family’s farmland near Newquay, the restaurant delivers a menu defined by quality ingredients, open-fire cooking and sharing dishes.

The open-plan dining room features exposed oak beams, a cosy log burner and sweeping countryside views, while numerous outdoor tables provide picturesque spots for an alfresco supper.

A highlight of the menu is premium beef from the Trevowah herd, reared by Will’s cousin in fields visible from the restaurant and cooked over flame. Alongside thick-cut steaks and côte de boeuf, dishes include the likes of slow-cooked beef cheek with saffron mashed potato, bourguignon sauce and gremolata.

Feast nights and Sunday lunches are also part of the Halwyn experience, although the most unusual entertainment comes in the form of a glass of beer on the contemporary driving range or a round of reimagined mini golf.
