High above the village of Port Isaac, Outlaw’s Guest House & Bistro offers an understated take on the Nathan Outlaw experience.
The adults-only guest house occupies a renovated Victorian terrace with nine rooms and a shared lounge. Thoughtful touches include an honesty bar and afternoon bakes, making this feel more like a private home than a hotel.
Downstairs, the bistro takes a relaxed approach to the produce that defines Nathan’s cooking. Local seafood, meat and seasonal game feature across the à la carte menu and daily specials board, in dishes such as smoked Boscastle trout pâté with cucumber chutney and cheddar scone, or grilled john dory with red pepper, potato, courgette and Porthilly sauce.
For another perspective on Nathan’s cooking, Michelin-starred sister restaurant Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen is a short walk away on Port Isaac harbour.
