Cosy Emilia is a superb find if you’re seeking an intimate dinner. Inspired by the osterie of Emilia-Romagna, owners Clare Lattin and Tom Hill – the duo behind London’s Ducksoup and Little Duck – have created a convivial space centred around a communal wooden table and tiny open kitchen.
The blackboard menu changes daily, spotlighting handmade pasta, carefully sourced South West produce and Italian-inspired dishes rooted in the seasons. Plates such as fazzoletti of lamb and aubergine ragu bianco, and featherblade steak with braised potatoes and red pepper aioli, reflect a kitchen that treats exceptional ingredients with simplicity.
The concise wine list changes weekly, championing thoughtful producers and sustainable vineyards, with plenty available by the glass.
