The Seafood Restaurant

Celebrating its half-century last year, The Seafood Restaurant remains a stalwart for its smart-casual cooking and sophisticated hospitality.

The Padstow restaurant, which was founded and run for many years by Rick and Jill Stein, is today managed by their sons Charlie, Jack and Ed.

Menus range from classic seafood dishes to a four-course tasting menu showcasing Rick’s signature dishes. There’s also a three-course set lunch.

Feast on the likes of lobster thermidor, cooked in a light cream with Noilly Prat, fines herbes and parmesan, or fruits de mer of lobster, crab, razor clam, langoustines, scallops, oyster, mussels, cockles, whelks and winkles.

This is also a lovely place to sip cocktails and nibble from small plates while sitting at the large zinc bar in the centre of the restaurant.
