The Collective at Woolsery, north Devon
The Collective continues its A Year at Birch Farm series with a spring supper in collaboration with Gusbourne Sparkling Wines. There are only 18 seats available at this exclusive evening – which will include welcome drinks and canapes, a three-course feast, plus wines paired with each course – and tickets will be snapped up quickly. Guests can receive a 20 per cent discount on room bookings if choosing to stay the night after the supper.

Will Cashel and Ben Bruant are virtuoso professional acoustic guitarists who have been performing together as DUO since they met 14 years ago at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Although they have MAs in classical guitar, they currently tour playing an exhilarating ‘flamenco fusion’ style of music. On April 4 they will perform a two-hour concert at Hotel Tresanton and a pre-concert supper is available in the hotel’s restaurant at 5pm.

The Old Coastguard’s Crab Shack reopens this month from mid morning to dusk (weather permitting), offering lighter snacks including mussels, dirty fries and crab sandwiches as well as hot and cold drinks.
Also this month, the pub’s Saturday Sessions will relaunch with live music in the garden (weather permitting) or inside from 6-8pm.
Scarlet Hotel, Mawgan Porth
Enjoy lunchtime dining at the clifftop eco-sanctuary. Taste the seasons when you dine at Scarlet, a sharing, tapas style dining experience for £30 for two people.
The Scarlet Hotel are offering wine tasting sessions seven days a week for hotel guests and non residents to enjoy. Holm, South Petherton
Chef Nicholas Balfe has launched a series of exclusive foraging experiences from his restaurant with rooms, Holm. From seeking out wild garlic and elderflower to jack by the hedge and jelly ear mushrooms, these foraging experiences aim to highlight the wealth of local ingredients to be found in the woodlands, fields, and hedgerows. Guests will then return to Holm for an interactive demo, followed by a multi-course foraged feast.

The Queens Arms have been awarded a second rosette by the AA.
Head chef Rich Townsend has worked tirelessly with the team over three years to create and perfect his menus. They make everything from scratch in-house using the best British ingredients available. Some spring menu highlights include Newlyn market scallops in a curry butter sauce with fried aromatics, Cornish brill with celeriac noodles, and the first of the Yorkshire rhubarb with a delightful pudding.
