The Grade II*-listed hotel reveals its history at every turn, from its past life as a private residence and convent to its elegant bedrooms, sunny terrace and atmospheric public spaces.

The restaurant menus showcase produce from Cornwall’s land and sea. Expect dishes such as twice-cooked belly pork with savoy-cabbage kimchi, toasted peanuts, quaver and cider jus, alongside Breton curry monkfish with coconut bok choy lime broth, crisp rice noodles and coriander chutney. Foraged ingredients often provide the finishing touch to the seasonal dishes.

The hotel hosts a programme of events throughout the year, including Fizz and Chip Fridays, Thursday Cocktail Club, Lobster on the Lawn and Ollie’s chef tasting evenings.
